Welcome, friend - it's great to see you here!

I'm Claire, a 21st century 20something, finding my way in words.

I write, seeking extraordinary grace in ordinary life, what the Celts called the "thin places," where the space between heaven and earth falls away.

From worship services to sports, creating a new life after college and exploring vocation, I've found that life is brimming with messy, sacred moments. I'm here to share mine, and challenge you to find yours.

Hard to believe, but this blog has been my cozy little Internet corner for 12 years now. It's gone through many stages and phases. So have I. This body of work, all 1500 + posts, tells the story of a girl growing up.

I'm a hymn-singing extroverted introvert (ambivert?) with a love of sports and all things Davidson, pop culture, community and family in all its forms, photography, travel, and the faith and face of the modern church. I'm currently writing my way to an MFA in Creative Writing at Goddard College and can't wait to see where that journey leads.

I welcome the chance to create fellowship and conversation here, and I hope you'll join in.

Thanks for dropping by, and come back often!
